Some of which are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National E-Office Masterplan and Roadmap<\/strong><em><br>2016, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><br><br>The project involved studying and analyzing  documentation used in public institutions and develop e-office framework that will be used in the implementation of back office systems in all government ministries and agencies. The framework ensures interoperability, standard categorization and classification. The e-office system enables automation of back-end processes of all government ministries. The equipment and software required to manage the complete information lifecycle (document capture, store, process, share, and archive) were recommended. TOR and cost estimate for implementation of the project was provided as part of the deliverables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>National Cloud Computing Strategy and Roadmap<\/strong><em><code><\/code><\/em><em><br>2016, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involves developing a national strategy and roadmap for implementing a government cloud to be used by all public institutions, non-governmental and private organizations. The project is implemented in partnership with Samsung Data Systems (KDS). TOR and cost estimate for implementation of the project was provided as part of the deliverables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Strategy and design for decentralization of EMDMS application and interconnection of regional bureaus<\/strong><br><em>2017, ILO\/Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project involved conducting a visit to regional bureaus to assess options for interconnectivity, assess existing infrastructure and IT equipment, applications, skills of staff of the regional bureaus and recommend a design for interconnecting the regional bureaus to the federal ministry so that the relevant components of the EMDMS application such as document approval can be run by respective regional bureaus without encountering performance issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development of National Addressing and Post Code Standard<\/strong><br><em>2015, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims at developing a national address standard and database that will be used by all government ministries and agencies, municipalities, utility companies, postal service providers, etc. Moreover, a national post code standard and post code standard that will be used by Ethiopian postal service enterprise and other postal service providers. This project is being undertaken in partnership with a German based company called Logcon.<br><br><strong>Development of National Communication and Information Technology CIT Governance Standard<\/strong><br><em>2013, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims at developing a national CIT governance standard with the objective of enabling the enforcement of all telecommunication and information technology standards and frameworks developed by the Ethiopian government. The project was undertaken by eSystems Africa in partnership with Knowledge Consulting Limited (KCL) from Uganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development of the Ethiopian national eServices Quality Management Framework<\/strong><br><em>2011, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims at developing a national framework that will be used to manage the qualities of electronic services that will be developed by various government ministries as per the Ethiopian eGovernment Strategy. The framework includes standards, guidelines and policies that should be considered when government ministries develop electronic services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development of the Ethiopian national eCommerce Standard<\/strong><br><em>2010, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aims at developing the national eCommerce standard for Ethiopia, which includes standards for B2B, B2C, G2C, G2B eCommerce systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Senior Advisory Service to IBM Corporate Services Group in Ethiopia<\/strong><br><em>2013, Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT), IBM<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IBM has launched a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative in 2008, which is called the IBM Corporate Service Corps (CSC) Program. The CSC Program is an innovative corporate volunteer program intended to expose IBM employees who volunteer for the program to the 21st century context of doing business with focus on emerging markets, global teams, diverse cultures and more sustainable business practices.<br><br>The program is intended to contribute to economic and social development priorities in emerging markets while at the same time build leadership skills and knowledge of emerging markets IBM\u2019s top performing employees. eSystems Africa is providing high level advisory service to identify potential host organizations and prepare the Scope of works of 12 senior IBMers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>E-Systems Africa undertook assignments to develop various national level consultancy projects.
